What to Expect When Requesting In-Home Support
A simple walkthrough of the intake process, from first call to first visit.

Requesting in-home support begins with a conversation. You share what kind of help is needed, for whom, and how soon. There is no obligation in asking.
Next, the Access team reviews needs, availability, and possible next steps. This may include discussing scheduling, payment options, and what an assessment would involve.
If care is appropriate and available, coordination begins — matching support to the individual's routine and preferences, and establishing clear communication with the family.
Throughout, expect honest answers. Where something is not yet confirmed, Access will tell you rather than overpromise.
Access Home Care is not an emergency medical service. If someone is experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
